Make the Biggest Impact: Inspire Action in Underserved Communities
Watch Promo
On April 10, 2019, financial bloggers, podcasters, authors, and media assembled outside of Phoenix to meet, network with each other, and learn some important tactics for engaging with an audience. Plutus Voices brings producers in the financial media community together to discuss topics that deserve more attention.
At this event, Athena Lent talked about her personal experience with homelessness growing up and discussed how to positively affect an audience dealing with trauma. Jenniemarie Cisneros shared her story moving her family into the low socio-economic status community where she grew up and talked about communicating effectively with a diverse audience. Brent Whiting and Andrea Diaz discussed their work motivating youth to take action and shared suggestions for inspiring action and engagement in audiences..
The program concluded with a special session focused on making an impact on an audience, with input from everyone in the room. The benefit of this session is greatest for those who attend, but we provide some videos and downloadable material to hold onto.
Complete video from the event is exclusively available here.
