Plutus Voices Atlanta: October 24, 2019
Make the Biggest Impact: Transparency and Personal Finance
Watch Promo
On October 24, 2019, financial bloggers, podcasters, authors, and media assembled at the Atlanta Community Food Bank to meet, network with each other, and learn some important tactics for engaging with an audience. Plutus Voices brings producers in the financial media community together to discuss topics that deserve more attention.
At this event, featured guests Jason Butler (My Money Chronicles) and Steven Hughes (Know Money Inc) spoke about being transparent about their money mistakes, debt, and financial stories, offering actionable suggestions for connecting with their audiences and people in general through honesty and transparency.
The program concluded with a special session focused on making an impact on an audience, with input from everyone in the room. The discussion focused on being effective with an audience through transparency and addressed challenges that come from publishing naked personal honesty. The benefit of this session is greatest for those who attend, but we provide some videos and downloadable material to hold onto.
Complete video from the event is exclusively available here.
